VA Law § 18.2-137. Injuring, etc., any property, monument, etc.
Since it was deliberate and the value is OVER $1,000 its a Class C Felony.
An upon conviction, the court can order that the defendant pay restitution
    covering damages and even replacement.

    A few simple questions.

So where were the Police during this criminal act?

Were the police told to stand down for political reasons, which is a Violation of their Oath of Office and violation of the Law?

Will these yahoo's be arrested and charged?

Also Note: IF city officials held back the Police, they can be charged
as co-conspirators and violation of Oath of Office and removed.

    1. Charlotte Mayor Jennifer Roberts is far left. Her policy will be donuffin towards this and any attack on monuments.

I agree completely that all those in attendance be charged and convicted. I also agree that any officials that gave a "stand down" order they also be appropriately charged and convicted.

  2. Too bad the statue didn't fall on top of and crush several of the SJWs.

    1. I like the use of the name Insurgent to call the SJW and antifa crowd what they really are.

(sorry I couldn't figure out how to start my own comment. sigh)

  5. Sorry if this appears twice; timed out during the "publish" phase/

@ N2N = The story I read said the police did nothing: http://www.wxyz.com/news/national/protesters-take-down-confederate-statue-in-durham

"The News Observer reported that members of the Durham County Sheriff’s Office were on hand, but did not get involved. Instead, deputies videotaped the incident. "

  6. Hey Jeffrey;

What we have is a low level insurgency supported by parts of the government. This will not end well especially if these guys get really spooled up for 2020. I believe that this is the game plan. Use the antifa and other idiots to attack supporters of Trump when he runs for reelection. They started in 2016 and that was a warm up.

  7. I'm reading now that the Durham County Sheriff's Office didn't want to provoke more violence or personal injury but that they do intend to arrest and prosecute those who actively participated. That probably explains the videotaping.
